On July 16-17, 2010, in Salacgrīva (a town in Latvia) near the Baltic Sea and halfway between Riga and Tallinn, was held the popular festival Positivus. In two days, the fifth festival visited more than 30,000 spectators.

Several important events took place at the Luzhniki Sports Palace (capacity 10000) in Moscow on September 22, 2001. The first one was the presentation of the first issue of the Russian edition of the authoritative British magazine New Musical Express. The second one was the concert of the young British band MUSE, which was becoming popular. The band performed in Russia for the first time. The organizer of the event concert part was the JSA Promoter team.
