CLIMBING WORLD CUP FINAL 2006. THE BIG COMPETITION IN MOSCOW

For the first time, the fate of the 2006 Climbing World Cup was decided in Russia. On November 2–4, the 13th Moscow International Ski Salon was held at the Gostiny Dvor in the center of Moscow. In Russia, that was the most visited exhibition of goods and services for winter sports and outdoor activities.

The exhibition hosted one of the most prestigious events for climbing – the World Cup Finals 2006. Athletes from 30 countries competed on a man-made rock – on the special design of a climbing wall the height of a four-storey house. JSA installed a basic structure from steel elements of the Layher Allround Scaffolding System.

JSA supported this major event as part of a partnership with the Climbing Federation of Russia.
