On July 13, 2006, the “Stop Counterfeit” festival was held on the Red Square in Moscow. It was the action to support the copyright of music artists. The event was a part of the cultural program SUMMIT G8 / XXXII meeting of the Heads of State and Government of The Big Eight.

On June 13, 2006, the first “Stop Counterfeit” Festival in support of the musicians’ copyright was held in Kirovsky Stadium in St. Petersburg. The event was the cultural part of the XXXII Summit G8 / meeting of the heads of state and government, which took place in the Konstantinovsky Palace in Strelna near St. Petersburg from July 15 to 17, 2006.
